This is an HPE TS Series cleaning tape cartridge 9-pack, a consumable maintenance accessory for HPE tape storage systems (LTO tape drives and autoloaders/libraries). A cleaning tape is periodically run through a tape drive to remove dust and residue from the read/write heads, which keeps backup and archive jobs reliable and reduces read/write errors caused by a dirty tape path. Selling in a 9-pack suits data centres and IT departments managing tape backup infrastructure that need cleaning cycles on a routine schedule, rather than a one-off consumer purchase. It's a consumable, not a data storage tape itself, and holds no backup data of its own.
