The Corsair HS80 RGB USB is a premium wired gaming headset in Carbon (black) with 7.1 surround sound processed over USB, positioned above Corsair's entry-level HS-series as a step up in build quality and audio processing. Corsair-tuned 50mm neodymium drivers deliver the audio, while a broadcast-grade omni-directional microphone with an integrated pop filter aims to give clearer voice chat and stream audio than a typical bundled mic. The earcups use a mix of memory foam and fabric to stay cool over long sessions, and the all-metal headband construction is built for durability under regular desk use. Corsair iCUE-compatible RGB lighting rings the earcups, letting it match the rest of an RGB-lit setup, and the USB connection handles both the surround processing and lighting without extra adapters.
