The Hyperkin Nylon EVA Hard Case for PS5 Portal is a dedicated protective carrying case built to the shape of Sony's PlayStation Portal, the dedicated Remote Play handheld that mirrors a DualSense controller split apart around an 8-inch screen. Because the Portal isn't a small pocketable device like a phone but a wide, controller-shaped handheld, a generic pouch doesn't fit it well - this case is moulded specifically to that silhouette, with a rigid EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) hard-shell core wrapped in a durable woven nylon exterior fabric that resists abrasion and light moisture far better than a bare foam shell on its own. The combination gives the case genuine impact resistance for the Portal's screen and side grips while the nylon skin protects the shell itself from fraying or splitting in a bag over time. Like the rest of Hyperkin's EVA case line, it closes with an all-around zipper to keep the device fully enclosed rather than resting in an open sleeve, and an internal mesh pocket provides a separate spot for the Portal's USB-C charging cable or a pair of earbuds so they don't scratch the screen while in transit. It's built as travel protection specifically for gamers who use their Portal away from home for Remote Play sessions.
