The Hyperkin Scout Premium USB Controller pairs a retro-inspired design, evoking the classic SNES-style controller shape and button layout, with genuinely modern build comfort and a wired USB connection built for PC and Mac. Where a real vintage SNES pad relies on decades-old plastic and a short, fixed cable, the Scout updates the formula with ergonomics tuned for longer play sessions and a generous 10-foot cable, giving far more freedom to sit back from the desk or plug into a PC set up across the room than the original hardware ever offered. It is a fully wired plug-and-play controller, with Hyperkin's own product copy explicit that no drivers are needed to get it running on either PC or Mac. Like Hyperkin's other retro-style USB pads, it is built primarily for classic-style games, SNES emulation, and any modern indie title designed around that same simple D-pad-and-four-face-button layout, rather than as a general twin-stick replacement for a modern console controller. It measures 6.25 x 2.50 x 5.75 inches and weighs 0.5 lb.
