The Hyperkin UltraBeam II is the Switch 2 successor to Hyperkin's original UltraBeam charging handles, redesigned specifically around the Joy-Con 2 controller shape rather than being a straight port of the earlier accessory. Like the original, its core idea is to slide a bare Joy-Con 2 into an ergonomic grip handle so it can be held and played like a more traditional two-handed controller, with a simultaneous 4-slot charging design meaning both handles (and a spare pair) can be topped up together rather than one at a time. The grips are built with an ergonomic shape aimed at reducing hand fatigue over extended play sessions compared with the slim, flat feel of a bare Joy-Con 2, and the whole unit is USB-C powered for charging. It keeps the signature feature that gave the original UltraBeam its name: a logo hologram / dynamic LED projection of the Hyperkin "H" logo cast onto the surface below while docked and charging. Setup is plug-and-play, with no drivers or extra software needed, and the handles are detachable and space-saving when not in use. It measures 4 x 4 x 4.75 inches and weighs 4 ounces.
