The Hyperkin UltraBeam Projecting Charging Handles turn a pair of unattached Joy-Con controllers into something closer to a proper handheld grip while they charge, rather than leaving them lying flat on a desk plugged into separate cables. Each handle uses easy-to-insert, secure interlocking charging rails, so a Joy-Con slides in and locks into place rather than needing to be balanced on an open connector, and the design charges up to four Joy-Cons at once — a full matched pair for two controllers, or spares for a second player, in one sitting. The standout gimmick is genuinely useful as well as fun: the unit projects the official Hyperkin logo onto the surface beneath it while charging, turning an otherwise purely functional charging dock into a small lit centrepiece on a desk or shelf. Power comes via an included Type-C cable, though it does require its own 5V/1A USB power source, which is not included in the box and needs to be supplied separately (a phone charger or spare USB power brick is sufficient). The Joy-Con controllers themselves are not included — this is a charging accessory only.
