The Hyperkin Duke is an officially Xbox-licensed reissue of the original 2001 Xbox controller, scaled and refined for modern hardware as part of the Xbox 20th Anniversary Limited Edition lineup. This White colourway reproduces the Duke's famously oversized, contoured shell in a clean white finish that echoes early-2000s console aesthetics, while swapping the original's bulky Xbox Communicator port for a detachable braided USB Type-C cable that plugs straight into Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 PCs. A tiny screen inside the Xbox button plays the original Xbox startup animation on connect, and the layout folds in upgrades the 2001 Duke never had: a Share button for quick captures, precision analog triggers and bumpers with vibration feedback, and a 3.5mm headset jack for wired chat audio. At roughly 419g it's noticeably heavier in the hand than a standard Xbox pad (around 287g) — deliberately, for players chasing the original Duke's authentic weight and grip. Wired-only, no batteries required.
