The ICY DOCK EZConvert Pro MB982SPR-2S R1 is not a docking station — it's a full-metal drive bay converter that fits two 2.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs (5-9.5mm height) into the space, screw holes, and connector layout of a single standard 3.5" SATA drive. It has a built-in SATA III RAID chipset supporting RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and BIG (spanning) modes, plus a tool-less drive installation design, letting it add a 2.5" RAID array to any internal 3.5" bay without a separate RAID card.
