The Intellinet 502900 PoE Splitter powers a non-PoE network device - for example an older IP camera, access point or network sensor - from a standard IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector over a single Cat5 cable. The splitter separates the incoming 48V PoE signal into a Fast Ethernet data port and a DC power output, so devices can be mounted up to 100m away where no plug point is available, with no tools or software required. A side switch selects 5, 7.5, 9 or 12V DC output, with a maximum output of 15.4W. Both RJ45 ports are 10/100Mbps auto-sensing with auto-MDIX and NWay auto-negotiation, supporting full or half duplex, and a LINK LED shows activity. It's housed in a compact 102 x 74 x 22mm metal case weighing 0.24kg. For gigabit or PoE+ devices choose the 560443 instead. Supplied with the splitter, a power output cable and user manual.
