Configured here as a iPad mini (7th generation, 2024), this model is Apple's smallest, most pocketable tablet, well suited to reading, note-taking, navigation and light productivity where a full-size iPad is impractical. This specific configuration is finished in Starlight with 256GB of storage and 8GB of unified memory, running on the Apple A17 Pro chip (6-core CPU (2P+4E), 5-core GPU), and comes in the Wi-Fi-only configuration. The 8.3-inch (diagonal) display runs at 2266 x 1488 pixels at 326 ppi (Liquid Retina LCD, fully laminated), finished with True Tone colour matching and P3 wide colour for accurate, comfortable viewing indoors and out. For imaging it carries a 12MP Wide, f/1.8, up to 5x digital zoom rear camera alongside a 12MP landscape Ultra Wide, f/2.4 front camera, and supports 1080p HD video recording. Up to 10 hours surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video, and the device charges over USB-C. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3, plus a USB-C (USB 3 speeds) port for wired data transfer and external display output. Security is handled by Touch ID (in the top button), and the model supports Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) compatible for note-taking, sketching and productivity add-ons. It ships running the latest version of iPadOS. This line is available in 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage tiers across the range (Apple model A2993).
