The j5create JCA365 adds two extra HDMI screens to a laptop through a single USB port. It works as an external USB graphics adapter: install j5create's driver, plug it in, and you can extend or mirror your desktop across two monitors, which is ideal for hot-desking, home offices and laptops that only have one video output, including MacBooks that do not natively support multiple external displays. One HDMI port supports up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30Hz and the second up to 2048 x 1152, so it suits spreadsheets, documents, web apps and presentations rather than gaming or fast video. The attached 20cm cable ends in a USB-C plug with a tethered USB-A adapter, so it connects to both newer and older Windows and Mac machines over a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. The housing is silver brushed aluminium with white cable, measures 68 x 61 x 15mm and weighs 84g, small enough to live in a laptop bag.
