The Kiloview RN-3 is a bi-directional 3G-SDI to Full NDI (NDI High Bandwidth) encoding and decoding card designed to slot into Kiloview's RU01 or RU03 rackmount chassis, letting broadcasters and production facilities build dense, centrally powered NDI conversion racks. In encoding mode it converts a 3G-SDI signal up to 1080p60 into an NDI High Bandwidth stream while looping the SDI out for monitoring; in decoding mode it takes an NDI stream from the network and outputs 3G-SDI. Colour is 8-bit YCbCr 4:2:2, audio supports SDI embedding and de-embedding plus a 3.5 mm line in/out, with 16 channels for encoding and 8 for decoding, and up to nine NDI sources can be preset and switched from the web interface in decode mode. The front panel carries a gigabit Ethernet port, SDI in and out, the 3.5 mm line port, a USB port for PTZ control over RS-232/485/422 or a USB intercom headset, and a tally LED. It can be managed individually or via KiloLink Server Pro. The card measures 148.65 x 132 x 19.2 mm and weighs 160 g; the chassis is sold separately.
