The Kiloview N3-s is a compact bi-directional converter between 3G-SDI and Full NDI (NDI High Bandwidth), used to bring SDI cameras and equipment into NDI-based live production, or to feed NDI sources back to SDI monitors, recorders and switchers. In encoding mode it converts 3G-SDI up to 1080p60 into an NDI High Bandwidth stream with an SDI loop-through for monitoring; in decoding mode it receives NDI and outputs 3G-SDI, with up to nine preset NDI sources switchable without blackouts from the web interface. Video is 8-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 and interlaced formats are supported. Audio includes SDI embedding and de-embedding and a 3.5 mm line in/out, with 16 channels for encoding and 8 for decoding. It adds a front tally indicator and rear tally LED, an LCD status screen, PTZ camera control over USB-to-serial or network protocols (Sony Visca, Pelco-D/P), USB headset intercom, and management via web or KiloLink Server Pro. Power is PoE or USB PD (5-18 V), consumption 6 W maximum. It measures 100 x 80 x 28 mm, weighs 240 g and includes a cold shoe adapter for camera mounting.
