The Kiloview D300 is a 4K H.265/HEVC hardware video decoder that takes network video streams and outputs them to displays without needing a computer. It is used for video walls, control rooms, remote contribution monitoring, IP camera viewing and live production return feeds. The D300 decodes a wide range of IP streams including NDI HX2, SRT, RTSP, RTMP, TS-UDP and HLS, and can display them in layouts of up to nine split-screen windows or a free layout with dynamic switching. It can also act as an RTMP server so encoders can push directly to it, and previews up to 16 sources on its web page. Decoding capacity is up to four 4K30 channels, eight 1080p50/60 channels, or nine channels at 1080p30/1080i/720p and below, with latency under 200 ms (adjustable). Outputs are one HDMI up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and one 3G-SDI up to 1080p60, with embedded or analogue audio. It has two gigabit Ethernet ports and runs from 12 V / 1 A. Note that Kiloview's current successor model is the D350.
