The Kiloview E2 NDI is a compact H.264 hardware video encoder that turns an HDMI source into NDI|HX and other IP streams for live production, streaming, broadcasting and recording over a local network or the internet. It encodes HDMI baseband video to H.264 and supports NDI|HX, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, HLS, TS-UDP and ONVIF, so a single camera or computer feed can go to NDI production software, a streaming platform and a recorder at the same time. A real-time HDMI loop output passes the signal through to a local monitor, audio can be taken embedded in HDMI or from the 3.5 mm analogue input, and a USB port allows PTZ camera control extensions. Setup and monitoring are done through a web interface, and Kiloview offers SDK/API access for integration. Typical users include broadcasters, churches, schools, hospitals, transport hubs and corporate AV teams. The metal enclosure has HDMI in and loop, 3.5 mm audio in and out, mini USB, an RJ45 Ethernet port and a locking 12 V DC input with power, signal and run LEDs.
