The König & Meyer 27500 (order number 27500-000-55, black) is a professional floor microphone stand with the audio cabling built in. The microphone plugs straight into a 3-pin XLR female connector at the tip of the included 350 mm gooseneck, so no mic clip or loose cable runs up the stand. A right-angle 3-pin XLR plug at the bottom of the tube takes the mic cable or a wireless plug-on transmitter. The internal cables are drawn in, soldered and tested by hand at the Klotz AIS factory in Germany. The powder-coated steel tube is 1,165 mm tall and reaches 1,520 mm with the gooseneck fitted. Short, heavy full-metal feet with sound-absorbing rubber caps give a stable, compact footprint (440 mm leg circle) and fold away for transport. It weighs 3.3 kg and sits in K&M's Starline quality range. It suits lecterns, churches, choirs, conference rooms and stages that want a clean, cable-free look.
