The Konig & Meyer 24116 connector plate (order number 24116-000-55, black) is a round zinc die-cast mounting plate that screws onto the underside of a loudspeaker so it can be mounted on a K&M distance rod. It is used by installers and sound engineers who want to put a speaker or monitor on top of a subwoofer via a distance rod, or who are fitting a speaker that has no built-in pole socket. The plate is 105 mm in diameter and 25 mm high, with four countersunk 6.5 mm holes on an 80 mm bolt circle for fixing to the cabinet, and a central M20 threaded connector that takes distance rods with an M20 bolt. K&M lists it as suitable for a wide range of its own distance rods, including the 21337, 21339 hand-crank, 21364/21367 Ring Lock, 21377 Easy Lock and 24626/26736 Pro rods, as well as the 19683 adapter bolt. The plate weighs about 0.24 kg and has a black finish. Supplied as a single plate; screws for the speaker cabinet and the distance rod are not included.
