The König & Meyer 24623 is an extra-tall black steel distance rod (speaker pole) used to raise a PA top cabinet above a subwoofer or to sit on a heavy base plate. The bottom end has an M20 threaded bolt that screws into subwoofers and K&M base plates with an M20 threaded bush, and the 35 mm diameter top tube fits speaker cabinets with a standard flange adapter. Usable height adjusts from 1,400 mm to 2,400 mm in five 200 mm steps; each position is held by a safety hook and then secured with a clamping screw for a firm, vibration-free fit. An integrated M10 threaded bushing at the top lets a lighting crossbar or truss be attached, or lights mounted directly, so it also works as a compact lighting pole. The slim clamp design keeps it space-saving for transport. The rod carries loads up to 25 kg and weighs 3.7 kg; it is a two-piece telescopic design.
