The König & Meyer 21339 is a black steel distance rod with a hand crank, used to mount a top loudspeaker above a subwoofer or on a base plate. It is the same as K&M's 21338 but has an M20 threaded bolt at the bottom, which screws into a subwoofer's M20 socket or K&M's 24116 connector plate for zero backlash and an absolutely vertical position - the rod does not wobble or lean as a push-fit pole can. Height is adjusted with a hand crank combined with K&M's push-button system, which prevents uncontrolled reverse motion, and a locking screw adds extra security once the speaker is at height. The rod extends from 914 mm to 1,504 mm, has a 35 mm diameter top tube for standard speaker sockets, folds into two pieces for transport, and carries up to 50 kg. It weighs 3.93 kg.
