The König & Meyer 259/1 is an extra-low black microphone stand with a one-piece boom arm, designed for bass drums, amplifier cabinets and other close-to-floor sources. It uses a zinc die-cast base with folding steel legs, so it is compact to pack yet stable on stage, and stands just 280 mm high. The fixed one-piece boom arm is 525 mm long and clamps with a T-bar locking screw, and the stand has a standard 3/8-inch thread for microphone clips. At 1.9 kg it is lighter and simpler than the telescopic-boom 25950 »Rien«, making it a cost-effective choice for drum kits, rehearsal studios, schools and live venues that need several low stands.
