The König & Meyer 21021 is a black overhead microphone stand designed especially for studios and drummers, where the microphone needs to sit high above a drum kit, piano or choir. It is taller and longer than a standard boom stand: the two-piece mast extends from 1,120 to 2,010 mm and the one-piece boom arm is 1,065 mm long, locked in position with a T-bar screw. Height is adjusted with a clutch. The zinc die-cast base carries longer, heavy folding legs for stability with a heavy mic at full extension, and the legs fold for compact storage and transport, to 105 x 85 x 1,170 mm. It ends in a standard 3/8-inch thread for microphone clips and is made of steel with a black finish. It weighs about 5.9 kg (K&M part 21021-300-55). The microphone and clip are not included.
