The König & Meyer 21435 is a heavy-duty black steel speaker stand from K&M's Topline range, built for PA speakers and stage monitors up to 50 kg. It is a redesigned version of the standard steel-tube tripod: the legs now use 35 mm diameter tubing with large fixed foot end caps for stability, lasered bore holes and robust plastic saddle washers stop the legs and braces from scratching, and a patented gradual height adjustment system with a push-button clamp makes it easy to set the height between 1,440 mm and 2,230 mm. A locking screw then fixes the speaker firmly without vibration. An integrated shock absorber cushions the extension tube if it is released under load, a pull-out guard stops the tube coming free, and a mounting aid is included to help lift a speaker onto the stand. The 1,150 mm tripod base folds to 1,150 mm long, and the stand weighs 5.91 kg. The 35 mm tube end suits most speakers with a standard pole-mount socket. Used by bands, churches, schools and rental companies.
