The König & Meyer 21450 is a lightweight speaker stand made from high-quality anodised aluminium, designed for bands, DJs, presenters and hire companies who need to put a PA or monitor speaker at head height and carry the stand easily between venues. At only 2.34 kg it weighs well under half of a comparable steel stand, yet it supports speakers up to 40 kg. The tripod base uses tube legs with cross braces and a 1,150 mm footprint, and the height adjusts from 1,270 mm to 1,930 mm with an easy-to-use clamping lever backed by an additional safety pin. Fibreglass-reinforced fittings keep the joints rigid. The 35 mm tube end fits the standard pole-mount socket found on most portable speakers, and K&M includes a 21326 adapter sleeve with the stand. It folds down to 1,060 mm long for transport. This is the silver anodised-aluminium version (order number 21450-000-30), part of K&M's Baseline range, made in Germany.
