Here is the LaCie 2big Dock 28TB desktop RAID array, a two-bay storage and connectivity hub built around two 7200rpm hard drives configured for RAID 0 (maximum capacity/speed) or RAID 1 (mirrored redundancy), doubling as a Thunderbolt dock for a creative workstation. Beyond the 28TB of storage, the 2big Dock adds a built-in CF/SDXC card reader for pulling footage straight off a camera card, a USB 3 Type-A downstream port for connecting other peripherals, and two Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) ports for daisy-chaining a display or further storage — turning a single cable connection to a laptop into a full desktop hub. A USB 3 Type-C Gen 2 (10Gbps) port is also included for non-Thunderbolt machines, along with both a Type-C-to-Type-A and Type-C-to-Type-C cable. Housed in a silver aluminium enclosure measuring 217x118x93mm, it's aimed squarely at video editors and photographers who want their storage array to also be their desk's connectivity hub. LaCie backs it with a 5-year limited warranty.
