This is a field-upgrade speed kit for the Xerox XC9635/XC9655-class digital colour press platform, used to raise the engine's rated output from the lower 35ppm-class tier up to the 55ppm speed tier without replacing the whole machine. Print shops and in-house reprographics departments running this printer family buy speed kits like this when growing print volumes justify a faster engine but a full machine swap isn't cost-effective. Note: the catalog listing for this SKU gives only the model-conversion and speed detail above, with no further technical breakdown supplied by the source data, so this description is limited to what can be confirmed from the part description itself.
