LG's UltraFine 32UR550K-B is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor for anyone who wants a big, sharp workspace for spreadsheets, photo editing, design work or streaming without paying for a premium IPS panel. Its VA panel shows 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz with a 3000:1 typical contrast ratio, which gives deeper blacks than most IPS screens, and it covers about 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space with 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) colour. It supports HDR10, has 250 cd/m² typical brightness and a 4ms GtG response time, plus Flicker Safe and Reader Mode for long sessions. Connections are two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort 1.4, with a headphone output and built-in 5W x 2 speakers with MaxxAudio, so a separate set of speakers is optional. The stand adjusts for height (about 110mm), tilt and pivot into portrait, and there is a 100 x 100mm VESA mount. Power is via an external 48W adapter, and LG supplies an HDMI cable in the box.
