The Libec BA-100 is a bowl adapter that lets a Libec head with a 100 mm ball base be mounted on Libec's P1000 studio pedestal. Broadcast and studio crews use it when they want to move a camera head between tripods and the pedestal without swapping hardware on the head itself, so the same fluid head and camera set-up can go from location work to a studio floor. It is a solid adapter made from two machined black rings joined by four steel pillars, with a 100 mm bowl on top to receive the head's ball base. Libec lists its weight as 1.1 kg (2.3 lb). It is an accessory only: no head, tripod or pedestal is included. It is intended for users of Libec's P1000 pedestal and Libec 100 mm-bowl heads; check your own head's base size before ordering, as Libec also makes a BA-150 for 150 mm heads.
