The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is a long-running, well-regarded USB joystick built for flight and space-combat simulation on PC, and remains one of the most affordable full-featured joysticks still on the market. It carries 12 programmable action buttons directly on the stick and base, and Logitech's shift-button system doubles that to a genuine 24 available functions without needing extra hardware. A twist-handle base gives rudder/yaw control without a separate pedal set, while an 8-way POV hat switch on top of the stick handles view panning or hat-switch functions in supported games. A throttle wheel on the base controls speed, and a dedicated rapid-fire trigger setting lets the trigger button fire repeatedly with a single press/hold rather than needing to be pulled each time. The whole unit sits on a weighted, non-slip base for stability during aggressive stick movements, and it plugs in over USB with no separate driver required for basic functions. It's compatible with a wide range of PC flight sims, space sims and any game that supports a generic joystick input.
