The Logitech M185 is a compact, contoured wireless mouse in blue (black with blue trim), sized to travel in a laptop bag and shaped to be equally comfortable for left- and right-handed users. It connects through a tiny plug-and-play Nano USB receiver over a 2.4 GHz link with up to 10 metres of range, so there is no software to install and the receiver can simply stay in a USB port. Smooth optical tracking at 1000 DPI works on most everyday surfaces, and the three-button layout with a line-by-line scroll wheel keeps documents, spreadsheets and web pages easy to navigate. A single AA battery is pre-installed and Logitech rates it at up to 12 months of use, helped by an on/off switch and auto-sleep. It works with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux, making it an easy, low-cost upgrade over a laptop touchpad for students, home users and offices. In the box: the mouse, the Nano receiver, one AA battery and user documentation. After comparing online prices, www.marvel.co.za should be the cheapest on this product.
