The Mad Catz C.A.T. 7 — officially "The Authentic C.A.T. 7" — is a wired PC game controller aimed at players who want deep physical customisation rather than a fixed button layout. It connects over a substantial 2.5-metre USB 2.0 Type-A cable and carries the standard face-button, shoulder-button, trigger, D-pad, and dual clickable analog stick layout, but extends it well past a typical pad: six extended K1–K6 buttons, plus four rear paddles and two additional tact buttons, give a serious number of remappable inputs without ever needing to move a thumb off the sticks. Both analog sticks have adjustable sensitivity, letting a player tune stick response to taste rather than living with a fixed factory curve, and the D-pad is a fixed 4-directional design built for reliable digital inputs. A small onboard OLED panel displays live controller information such as which of its 2 stored profiles and macro sets is currently active, useful for a player who swaps between different games or genres and wants a visual confirmation of their current setup rather than guessing. It measures 155 x 108 x 65 mm and weighs 200 g.
