The Mad Catz G.L.I.D.E. SPEED XL is the largest format in the Speed line, giving players a full desk-mat-sized low-friction surface that comfortably covers both keyboard and mouse in one continuous pad. Like the smaller L size, it uses a smooth, speed-tuned cloth top designed to minimise drag for fast flicks and wide sensitivity settings, sitting on a non-slip base that keeps the whole mat anchored during aggressive play. The larger footprint particularly suits low-DPI, high-distance players who need more physical desk space to complete a full 360-degree swipe without lifting the mouse. As with the L size, Mad Catz's own product pages didn't expose an exact millimetre spec sheet independent of the general G.L.I.D.E. Speed line construction, so this description is written honestly at that confirmed level rather than inventing precise dimensions.
