Mad Catz N.E.K.O. All-Button Arcade Controller
The Mad Catz N.E.K.O. trades the traditional joystick for an all-button "Hitbox"-style layout, developed with input from FGC professionals in Japan for players who prefer directional inputs on buttons rather than a stick. It packs 18 buttons in total, including 4 freely programmable ones, built on low-profile, hot-swappable Kailh switches so worn or preferred switches can be replaced without soldering. Competitive features include 3 selectable SOCD (simultaneous opposite cardinal direction) resolution modes, a Key Lock for tournament play, adjustable turbo, and dual firmware for switching behaviour between setups. It connects over a single USB Type-C cable and works with PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch natively; PS5 support requires a third-party adapter such as the Brook Wingman FGC, since there's no native PS5 mode. The compact, low-profile shell (340 x 240 x 35mm, 1,170g) sits on an anti-slip base and uses an ergonomically angled faceplate, with fully customisable artwork for players who want to personalise the panel.
