The Mad Catz P.I.L.O.T. Pro Dual Wireless RGB 7.1 sits at the top of Mad Catz's P.I.L.O.T. headset range, combining RGB lighting and 7.1 surround-sound processing (as on the P.I.L.O.T. 5) with genuine "dual wireless" connectivity — typically meaning the headset can pair over both a low-latency 2.4GHz wireless dongle and Bluetooth simultaneously or interchangeably, letting it connect to a gaming PC/console for low-latency play while also pairing to a phone for calls or a second audio source without needing to re-pair. The 7.1 surround processing spreads game audio directionally for clearer footstep and gunfire positioning in competitive titles, and RGB lighting on the earcups gives it the same visual match with an RGB gaming desk as the P.I.L.O.T. 5. Padded over-ear cups and an adjustable headband provide comfort across long wireless gaming sessions, and an included microphone (typically detachable or flip-to-mute on this tier) handles voice chat. As the flagship model in the P.I.L.O.T. line, it's aimed at gamers wanting the full feature set — surround sound, RGB and wireless freedom — without cable management getting in the way.
