The Mad Catz R.A.T. 1+ is the entry point into Mad Catz's long-running, cult-favourite R.A.T. line of adjustable gaming mice, built for players who want the series' signature ergonomic customisation without paying for a full sensor upgrade. It uses an optical sensor tuned for up to 2000 DPI across four selectable steps, driven at a 1ms polling rate with 30 IPS tracking speed and 20G of acceleration, so cursor movement stays accurate and consistent during fast flicks and slow tracking alike. The body keeps the ambidextrous, universal-grip shape the R.A.T. family is known for, with an adjustable palm rest so the mouse can be lengthened or shortened to better match different hand sizes, and its 3-button layout keeps things simple for everyday desktop use and casual gaming. At just 60 grams (excluding the 1.8m soft rubber cable), it is one of the lightest mice Mad Catz makes, gliding on super-low-friction PTFE feet while a non-slip side texture keeps grip steady during quick movements. It connects over a standard wired USB connection and works with Windows 7, 8 and 10.
