The Mad Catz R.A.T. 4+ in black moves the R.A.T. line into genuinely serious gaming-mouse territory, built around a PMW3330 optical sensor with a 4-level DPI switch running from 800 up to 7200 DPI, 150 IPS tracking, 30G of acceleration and a 1ms polling rate for reliably fast, accurate cursor response. It carries 7 fully programmable buttons that can be stored across 4 individual on-board profile slots, with macro support timed to 1/2000th of a second accuracy for genuinely repeatable inputs in-game. Physically it weighs 93 grams and measures 108 x 89 x 38mm, wired via a 1.8m braided-fibre cable, and keeps the signature R.A.T. adjustable palm rest so the mouse's length and grip angle can be tuned to the player's hand rather than the other way around, comfortably supporting palm, claw and fingertip grip styles. Red LED ambient backlighting runs breathing, heartbeat and static effects at adjustable speed, and the whole mouse is driven through Mad Catz's software for game-specific profile creation. Runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10.
