Mad Catz R.A.T. PRO X3 Fully Customizable Optical Gaming Mouse

The Mad Catz R.A.T. PRO X3 sits at the top of the wired R.A.T. range, aimed at competitive players who want tournament-grade responsiveness alongside the series' trademark physical customisation. It uses a PixArt PMW3389 optical sensor with up to 16,000 DPI, 400 IPS tracking and 50G acceleration, but its standout figure is a 3000Hz polling rate delivering a 0.3ms response time, faster than the standard 8+ and ADV models. It carries 10 programmable buttons on Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks, plus a customisable optical scroll wheel that also supports analog axis input for games that use it. True to the R.A.T. name, the PRO X3 ships with 3 interchangeable palm rests and 2 pinkie rest options to fit different hand sizes, dual thumb rest configurations, and even a choice of ceramic or Teflon glide feet and interchangeable scroll wheel materials. At 105g and 115 x 87 x 38mm it's noticeably lighter than the 8+ series, wired via a 1.8m braided-fibre cable, with 16.8-million-colour RGB, 10 on-board profiles and full macro/sensor customisation through Mad Catz's software on Windows 7, 8 or 10.
