Sign makers print or apply vinyl graphics to the face and cut it into removable door and bonnet signs for cars, bakkies, delivery vans and taxis, so a business can brand a vehicle during working hours and remove the sign for private use, resale or when changing campaigns - without the commitment of a permanent wrap or lettering. The 0.8 mm thickness is the usual choice for vehicle magnets because it holds firmly to steel body panels at road speed while remaining easy to cut with a knife or plotter-mounted blade. The 610 mm width lets you cut standard vehicle-door signs from the roll with little waste, and 20 m yields many signs. Vehicle magnets should only be applied to flat or gently curved steel panels (not aluminium, fibreglass or plastic), be removed and cleaned regularly, and have rounded corners to resist lifting.
