The Mercusys MS105GP is a compact 5-port Gigabit desktop switch with four PoE+ ports, built for powering and connecting IP cameras, VoIP phones and Wi-Fi access points without running separate power cables to each device. Ports 1 to 4 deliver 802.3af/at PoE from a 65 W total budget, while port 5 serves as a Gigabit uplink to your router. Three hardware DIP switches on the back add useful extras: Extend Mode stretches PoE and data on ports 1-4 out to 250 m for a camera at the far end of a property, Isolation Mode separates ports 1-4 from each other to limit snooping and broadcast storms, and Priority mode favours ports 1 and 2 for voice or video traffic. It is plug-and-play with no configuration, fanless for silent running, and housed in a metal casing that can sit on a desk or mount on a wall.
