MSI MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED Curved Gaming Monitor 5120 x 1440 (DQHD) 240Hz
The MSI MPG 491CQPX is a 49" curved QD-OLED gaming monitor running at DQHD resolution (5120x1440, effectively two 1440p screens side by side) at a 240Hz refresh rate with a 0.03ms (GtG) response time. Its 1800R curvature wraps the ultra-wide 32:9 panel gently around the viewer for a more immersive, less distorted view at the screen's extreme edges than a flatter panel would give at this size.
Quantum Dot OLED technology delivers a genuinely elite colour and contrast performance for a gaming monitor: 1.07 billion colours, 98% Adobe RGB, 146% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification for OLED's per-pixel deep blacks combined with strong peak brightness. For console gamers, its HDMI 2.1 ports carry the full 48Gbps bandwidth with 120Hz support, VRR (variable refresh rate) and ALLM (auto low latency mode). It's G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium certified for tear-free PC gaming, carries VESA ClearMR 13000 motion-clarity certification, and includes MSI's OLED Care 2.0 technology to actively reduce the risk of permanent image burn-in - an important consideration for anyone running an OLED panel with static desktop UI elements for extended periods. MSI also includes a 3-way adjustable stand (tilt, height and swivel) on this monitor, for genuine ergonomic desk positioning rather than a fixed-angle base.
