Netix CAT5E Patch Cable 5M Grey
The NetiX CAT5e patch cable is a ready-made 5-metre light-grey Ethernet lead with moulded RJ45 plugs on both ends, so there is no crimping or testing to do - just plug it in. Five metres reaches across an office or lounge - from a router on a shelf to a desktop PC, gaming console or smart TV, or from a switch to a printer on the other side of the room. It is a 4-pair unshielded (UTP) cable rated CAT5e to 350MHz and wired to the T568B standard, and it carries Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet for normal home and small-office use, from fibre routers and Wi-Fi mesh points to PCs, smart TVs, consoles and printers. The jacket is general-purpose (CMG-rated) PVC, and the moulded connectors are built to keep near-end crosstalk within limits. Note that the conductors are copper-clad aluminium (CCA) rather than solid copper, which keeps the price down and is fine for data runs, but solid-copper cable is the better choice for PoE cameras or access points. Supplied in retail packaging; Esquire lists no warranty.
