A 305-metre box of CAT6 UTP installation cable sold by Netix (Esquire code NTX-CAT6305UTP). In Esquire's promotion it is shown in an orange-and-white 'Netrix' CAT.6 UTP networking cable pull box, with a cross-separator visible in the cable core. A 305m box is the standard trade quantity for wiring offices, homes, shops and CCTV systems: you pull the cable through ceilings, walls or trunking and terminate each run on site with RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks or patch panels. CAT6 cable is specified to 250MHz and is the usual choice for new installations that need dependable Gigabit Ethernet to desks, access points, IP cameras and switches, with headroom over CAT5e. It is an indoor cable; use a UV-rated outdoor cable for exposed runs. Esquire has not published conductor material, gauge or warranty for this item, so confirm with us before quoting it for PoE-heavy or long runs.
