The Netix 29-0021 is a single-port CAT6 surface mount box for neatly terminating a network cable at a wall, skirting or desk where a flush wall box isn't practical. Inside is a keystone-style RJ45 (8P8C) jack on a colour-coded IDC punch-down board, so an installer can terminate solid CAT6 or CAT5e cable and then plug a patch lead into the front socket. The two-piece white housing separates into a base that screws to the surface and a snap-on cover, with a cable entry at the back and 'CAT6' moulded on the lid.
