This Netix 100-pack of grey RJ45 rubber boots provides strain relief and a neat finish for network patch cables. The soft, flexible boots slip over crimped RJ45 connectors on CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6 cable, relieving stress where the cable meets the plug, helping keep cables firmly seated, and protecting the plug's locking clip with an anti-snag design so leads don't catch when pulled through cabinets and trunking. They are flexible enough for easy insertion and removal of the plug while staying slim enough not to crowd adjacent ports on a switch or patch panel. Thread the boot onto the cable before crimping the connector. Using boots prolongs the life of both cable and connector, and different colours (this pack is grey) help with cable identification and segregation. Sold as 100 per pack in a retail box, no warranty.
