The Netix TR-58001 is a 305-metre easy-pull box of grey UTP CAT5e installation cable with 24AWG copper-clad aluminium (CCA) solid conductors. It is four unshielded twisted pairs with a separator under a PE-insulated construction, connector-free so you can cut and terminate each run to length with RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks or a patch panel. Length markings every metre make it easy to see how much has been used. Netix rates it for 1-100MHz with 100 ohm (+/-15) impedance, and says it is tested to Cat5e specification for runs of up to 25 metres per point, where it supports applications up to Gigabit Ethernet; it is also suited to carrying data, audio and video signals. Because it is CCA rather than solid copper, it is a budget choice for short indoor runs such as office points, CCTV and home networks, rather than long or PoE-heavy runs. Esquire lists no warranty.
