This is a full 305-metre (1000ft) box of UTP network cable sold by Netix under Esquire stock code 'ZA CAT5 305M', supplied in a Zatech 'High Speed Network Cable' box marked CAT 5e. It is a copper-clad aluminium (CCA) installation cable for structured cabling and LAN runs, terminated on site with RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks or patch panels. A 305m box is the standard trade quantity for wiring several offices, a new house or a CCTV system, and the box lets the cable pay out without tangling. Esquire specifies it for Fast Ethernet (up to 100Mbps) connections between computers, routers, switches and other network devices, compatible with CAT5 and CAT5e equipment, with a jacket marked for easy identification. Because CCA has higher resistance than solid copper, keep runs reasonably short and avoid relying on it for high-power PoE. Indoor use. Esquire lists no warranty.
