The Netix Q555 50m patch cable is a long, ready-made CAT5e UTP network lead with moulded RJ45 plugs on both ends, so there is no crimping or termination needed. At 50 metres it is the length you reach for when a router, switch or fibre ONT sits at one end of the house or office and a PC, NVR, access point or smart TV sits at the other. It uses 4 twisted pairs of 24AWG wire in a grey PVC jacket, wired to the T568B standard, and Esquire specifies gold-plated connector contacts. The cable is suited to 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet and is listed for 10/100/1000Base-T networks; at this length it is best treated as a dependable Fast Ethernet or general-purpose run rather than a guaranteed full-gigabit link.
