The Neumann KH 310 A L G (cat. no. 505575) is the left-hand version of Neumann's KH 310 A active studio monitor, in anthracite. The left and right versions are mirror images, with the tweeter and midrange on opposite sides so a stereo pair is symmetrical; pair it with the KH 310 A R G. It is a tri-amplified, three-way sealed near-field monitor designed for precise midrange work on vocals, speech and instruments in project, music, broadcast and post-production studios. A 210 mm magnetically shielded woofer, a dedicated fabric-dome midrange and a 25 mm alloy fabric-dome tweeter behind a metal grille are driven by Class AB amplifiers of 210 W plus two 90 W, and a Mathematically Modelled Dispersion waveguide gives wide horizontal and narrow vertical dispersion to reduce console reflections. Frequency response is 34 Hz to 21 kHz (+/-3 dB) and maximum SPL is 116.3 dB. Input is a balanced analogue XLR, with 4-position bass, low-mid and treble controls, input gain and output level controls, a ground lift and a dimmable logo. The cabinet measures 253 x 383 x 292 mm and weighs 13 kg, finished in metallic anthracite.
