Neumann KK 204 BK Capsule Head, Black, Cardioid, With Padded Nylon Bag

The Neumann KK 204 BK (article 008652) is a black cardioid condenser capsule head for Sennheiser handheld wireless transmitters, bringing Neumann studio-grade sound to live vocals, presentations and broadcast. Neumann lists it for the Sennheiser SKM 2000, SKM 6000 and SKM 9000 handhelds as well as the EW G4 300/500 series and EW-D wireless systems, so it slots into a wide range of existing Sennheiser rigs. The cardioid pattern gives a natural, open sound with good rejection from the rear, making it a good general-purpose choice for vocalists and presenters. The capsule covers 40 Hz - 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 2.8 mV/Pa, handles up to 150 dB SPL at 0.5% THD and has a self-noise of 24 dB-A, giving plenty of headroom for powerful singers. The head is 55 mm in diameter; mounted on an SKM 2000 the combined length is about 272 mm and weight about 500 g including transmitter and batteries. It is supplied in a black finish with a padded nylon bag, and simply screws on in place of the transmitter's existing capsule. No transmitter or receiver is included.
