Neumann KMS 105 BK Vocalist Microphone, Super Cardioid, Black, Condenser Mic Capsule

The Neumann KMS 105 bk is the black version of Neumann's handheld condenser vocal microphone for stage use. A true condenser capsule with a tight supercardioid pattern gives the clarity of a studio microphone together with high feedback resistance, smooth response and a more immediate vocal sound than typical dynamic stage mics. It is ruggedly built with a hardened steel headgrille and multi-layer wire-gauze pop filter, very low handling noise, a fixed low-cut filter for close miking and headroom for up to 150 dB SPL. Its transformerless 50 ohm output drives long cable runs of up to 300 m without loss. Primarily a lead-vocal microphone, it is also used on brass, saxophone, percussion, harmonica, acoustic guitar and guitar amps, and for home recording and broadcast. It requires 48 V phantom power over XLR. It is 180 mm long, 48 mm in diameter and weighs about 300 g. Catalogue 008455 includes the microphone, SG 105 stand clamp and a padded nylon bag.
