Neumann KMS 105 Vocalist Microphone, Super Cardioid, Nickel, Condenser Mic.

The Neumann KMS 105 is a handheld condenser vocal microphone that brings studio-grade Neumann sound to the stage, here in the classic nickel finish. Unlike typical dynamic stage mics, it uses a true condenser capsule with a tight, frequency-independent supercardioid pattern for high gain before feedback, smooth frequency response and fast transient response for clear, natural vocals. It is built for the road: a hardened steel headgrille with a multi-layer pop filter, very low handling noise, a fixed low-cut to control proximity effect and the ability to take up to 150 dB SPL. The transformerless 50 ohm output can drive cable runs of up to 300 m. Besides lead vocals it works on saxophone, brass, percussion, acoustic guitar and guitar cabinets, and in home recording and broadcast. It needs 48 V phantom power. Length is 180 mm, diameter 48 mm, weight about 300 g. Catalogue 008454 includes the microphone, SG 105 stand clamp and a padded nylon bag.
